Our Montgomery County location has a variety of services, including blood draw services offered on the 3rd Saturday of every month. We provide children with a range of care options, including dermatology, gastroenterology, neurosurgery and radiology, among others.

Services
Ambulatory Surgery Center (2nd Floor)
The Montgomery County Ambulatory Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art surgical facility specifically for children. The center was designed with families in mind, providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for you and your child.
We offer a wide range of outpatient specialty surgical services for children in our two operating rooms, staffed by our nationally-recognized pediatric surgeons and highly skilled nurses. In addition, we guarantee a board-certified pediatric anesthesiologist is available 24/7.
Our center is an ideal alternative for healthy children in need of minor surgical procedures that do not require an overnight stay. We encourage parents to discuss the surgery with their child before hand to help alleviate anxiety.

Imaging and Radiology (Suite 110)
We offer a child-friendly imaging and radiology facility, which includes:
- Specialized staff to include board certified pediatric radiologists, anesthesiologists, radiologic technologists and pediatric nurses
- Full-time child life specialist, who are highly trained in addressing the developmental and psychosocial needs of patients and families to facilitate increased coping during potentially stressful imaging procedures
- A Spanish-speaking receptionist to facilitate communication with patients and families
- State-of-the-art equipment using the latest low dose technology to ensure optimal utilization of modern imaging techniques with a pediatric population
- Procedure rooms are decorated using GE’s Adventure Series™ designed to help put children and families at ease and provide a sense of comfort and fun, along with opportunities for distraction. Our unique environmental design leads to safer and more efficient procedures, less stress for the patient and higher-quality images
- Post-natal imaging for patients seen by Zickler Family Prenatal Pediatrics Institute specialists

Neurology (3rd Floor)
The neurology team includes neurologists, specially trained nurse practitioners, dedicated neurology nurses and social workers. We offer a multidisciplinary, fully integrated approach to care, as our division consults on the best treatment for your child in collaboration with physicians from the more than 40 pediatric specialties to develop an individualized treatment plan for your child.
Outpatient care covers neurologic evaluations, assessments and related treatments. We care for common and complex pediatric neurological conditions, including:

Lab Services
The on-site lab at Children’s National Montgomery County aims to streamline care for patients and families. With pediatric trained phlebotomists on site as well as a processing lab, we can conduct blood draws, urine/stool drop off and other lab work the same day as patients’ appointments, all in one convenient location. Services are offered by walk-in only; appointments are not available.
